Denholtz Properties hired Derek Janney as Multifamily Regional Manager

Charlotte-Based Derek Janney Bolsters Denholtz Properties Multifamily Capabilities 

Denholtz Properties announces the hiring of Derek Janney as Multifamily Regional Manager for the company’s southeastern multifamily portfolio. 

Janney is based in Charlotte, NC and brings 10 years of experience in proactive community management to his new role. As Multifamily Regional Manager, Janney will leverage his experience to streamline property management operations to more efficiently onboard and lease-up new acquisitions across the company’s southeastern multifamily portfolio.

Previously, Janney served as a Senior Property Manager for Greystar, where he oversaw a portfolio of 1,800 units and achieved 92-percent occupancy or higher. 

“As we expand our southeastern multifamily portfolio, it’s critical that we continue to build a property management team that can cultivate an unmatched residential experience across our portfolio,” said Greg Brown, Chief Operating Officer of Denholtz Properties. “Derek’s considerable experience in the Southeast and proven expertise in implementing strategies that drive immediate results will be essential as we grow.”

About Angela Noote

Angela Noote is a native of Northern California and graduated from Chico State with a degree in public relations. After college she moved to the Central Coast and worked first in ad sales then in editorial, eventually spending more than a decade as a print reporter and editor. She detoured into design work at a printer/publisher, and with a partner eventually opened a boutique full-service marketing agency. Moving into corporate communications, she built and managed several successful marketing teams in the hospitality, financial services, and nonprofit industries. Most recently she was an internal comms manager in the tech sector. After a long stint spent in Georgia (Go Dawgs), she moved to Baton Rouge, LA and has written for clients in the financial, luxury imports, higher ed, commercial cleaning, and medical equipment industries. Her son is a media arts major at the University of South Carolina, and her husband owns a comedy theater in Baton Rouge, where you can often find Angi teaching improv classes, leading corporate training events, or doing an occasional stand up set.
