JLL Hires Doug Mackenzie as VP, Energy Resilience
JLL has announced the hiring of Doug Mackenzie as Vice President, Energy Resilience, for its Clean Energy and Infrastructure Advisory team. Based in Washington, DC, Mackenzie will advise public and private clients on energy and sustainability, including distributed generation, demand management, microgrids and other solutions related to ensuring sufficiency and reliability of their energy supply.
Mackenzie’s 10 years of experience includes working as the Director of Federal Energy Security for Black & Veatch, where he led the development of more than $700 million in distributed energy infrastructure projects.
“Doug’s experience will be instrumental as he leads and advances our practice in the renewable energy space,” said JLL Clean Energy EVP Brian Oakley. “His wealth of knowledge regarding energy resilience will help us to continue to provide our clients with best-in-class advisory services.”
Mackenzie earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Denver and his Master of Science degree from John Hopkins University.
