Mintwood and M2 start work on Mixed-income Dallas apartment complex

Joint Venture Starts Work on Dallas Mixed-Income Project

Mintwood Real Estate and MSquared are breaking ground on Oakhouse, a new mixed-income apartment community that will bring 219 units of Class A affordable and market-rate housing to the Oak Cliff neighborhood.

Through a long term restriction, Oakhouse will offer 110 of its units at rents affordable to households making up to 80% of the area median income through a partnership with the City of Dallas.

The property is adjacent to I-35E and  a five minute drive from Dallas’ Central Business District. The building’s ground floor amenities will include a pool and a dog park, as well as a children’s lounge adjacent to the state-of-the-art fitness center and work spaces for students and employees working from home. In addition, there will be a Sky Lounge located on the top floor of the building .

Mintwood’s Nick Venghaus added,  “Oakhouse units meet a range of housing needs, including a number of three-bedroom units to address a shortage of rental options for families.”
