Skanska to Build $80M Center for College of William and Mary in Williamsburg

Global commercial real estate project development and construction group Skanska has signed a $79.5-million contract with the College of William and Mary to build a science center in Williamsburg, VA.

The project includes construction of a new 41,000-square-foot cutting-edge multi-function teaching and research facility and renovation of the existing 3,200-square-foot science center.

The project will accommodate the College of William and Mary‘s mathematics, computer science, kinesiology programs and its new design and engineering undergraduate program. The science programs will be in conjoined space to promote science, technology, engineering and mathematics initiatives in the state-of-the-art laboratories and teachings spaces designed for instruction and research.
