Clear Investment Group Drops $28M for 549-Unit Multifamily Portfolio in Shreveport
Multifamily real estate investment firm Clear Investment Group has acquired a 549-unit portfolio of properties located in Shreveport, LA for $28 million.
The transaction marks the first portfolio closed for the firm’s Clear Opportunities Fund I LLC; the acquisition is the seed portfolio in the entity, which just closed its first round of fundraising.
“Shreveport is a strong, secondary market garnering high demand for workforce housing — our firm’s niche,” said Clear Investment Group CEO Amy Rubenstein. “A deal of this size allows us to efficiently place significant capital in a strong metro area to achieve major upside.”
Clear Investment Group plans to invest critical capital into the properties.
“Our strategy is always to bring properties suffering from mismanagement or deferred maintenance up to their full potential, and thereby increase the living experience for residents,” noted Rubenstein. “We aim simply to meet the market, and our delta is not secured by drastically raising the community’s cost of living.”
