Apple Buys 384K-SF Cupertino Tech Campus Near HQ

Apple Buys 384K-SF Cupertino Tech Campus Near HQ

Tech giant Apple has purchased a 384,000-square-foot tech campus that it has been leasing for over 10 years, paying an undisclosed price. The Apple Results Way Campus further solidifies the company’s presence in Silicon Valley, when many tech companies have moved or are scaling back their office space.

The Mercury News reports the seller was a corporate entity wholly owned by Apple, a designated successor of the actual prior owner, Swift Real Estate Partners. The transaction process allows Swift to avoid paying a transfer tax between two distinctly separate entities. While the purchase price wasn’t disclosed, it’s likely more than the $346 million that Swift paid for the property in 2020.

Fully occupied by Apple, the Apple Results Way Campus is situated just west of Highway 85 off of Bubb Road and features on-site amenities that include a cafeteria and a fitness facility with an outdoor basketball court.
