Callon Petroleum Moves HQ into Memorial City MetroNational Project
So much for the gloom and doom of office developers as a result of the Covid pandemic. MetroNational announced the final signed lease at its new 9753 Katy Freeway project…which is saying something because MetroNational topped out the building in August of 2022.
The last space remaining was picked by Callon Petroleum, who leased a 107,171-square-foot, five-floor office space that will serve as their new corporate headquarters. The independent gas extraction company will relocate its headquarters from the three floors it currently occupies in BriarLake Plaza on Beltway 8 in west Houston and will relocate in the second half of 2024.
The new nine-story, 190,000-square-foot, Class A office building in Memorial City is part of a 2.7 million square foot campus. MetroNational, a privately-held real estate investment, development and management company, has been developing the 265-acre Memorial City since the early 1960s.
