Longtime Owner Parts with Featherstone Plaza in Woodbridge for $5M

SRS Real Estate Partners has brokered the $5.2-million sale of Featherstone Plaza shopping center located in Woodbridge, VA. The 1966-constructed, 46,793-square-foot property was fully leased at sale.

Andrew Fallon, Rick Fernandez, and Philip Wellde of retail-oriented commercial real estate agency SRS Real Estate Partners represented the two-building, 21-tenant asset’s seller, which had owned and managed the property for more than 50 years. The buyer was a local firm with a portfolio of strip retail properties in the region.

“We ran a competitive bid process that delivered over a dozen offers from private individuals and area developers to the seller,” said Wellde. “We had a high degree of confidence in the winning bidder’s ability to close, and the seller ultimately chose the buyer based on pricing, short study and closing terms.”
