Woodfield Development to build 21-story Dallas rental Highrise at Farmers Market

Dallas to Get Another Downtown Residential Tower

Woodfield Development is planning to spend $125 million on a 21-story residential property being planned for the Farmers Market area. The residential building, called the GreenHouse, would be one of the first high-rise projects in the Farmers Market neighborhood. The company locked down one of the last available lots in the area, where a number of new homes have been built.

Construction on the 573,000-square-foot project is scheduled to begin in May with a two-year development schedule. Dallas Architect Corgan designed the building. Founded in 2005, Woodfield Development has built more than 30 luxury condominiums.

Woodfield’s high-rise would be one of several such projects in downtown Dallas. On Young Street west of Farmers Market, developer Mill Creek Residential has broken ground on a 16-story residential tower called Modera St. Paul and developer Todd Interests has designed a $195 million, 47-story residential tower.
