Revitate Hires Lang as Commercial Real Estate Managing Director

Newport Beach, CA-based investment firm Revitate has tabbed Robert Lang as the Managing Director of Commercial Real Estate. In his new role, Lang will oversee the full portfolio of Revitate’s commercial real estate activities, including the firm’s opportunity zone strategy, multifamily housing strategy and additional real estate initiatives.

“We are incredibly fortunate to add Robert to the team,” said Revitate’s Executive Chairman Alex Bhathal. “His three-decade track record in the industry speaks for itself, and we look forward to his leadership in building out our commercial real estate activities to their fullest potential.”

Lang has led more than $25 billion of acquisitions, developments and financings for multifamily, office, industrial, retail, resort, self-storage and residential land developments over his career, and has held leadership roles at Platinum Storage, Irvine Company, J.P. Morgan and Bank of America. He earned his bachelor’s degree at UC Berkeley and his master’s degree at Harvard.

As a business reporter, Mark covered the tech world in Silicon Valley where he became familiar with real estate transactions in the hot Bay Area marketplace.
