Wimatex Buys Vista and Carlsbad Office Portfolio for $14M
Cushman & Wakefield has brokered the $13.94 million sale of a combined 70,000-square-foot, multi-tenant Class A office portfolio in the cities of Vista and Carlsbad, CA. The two-building portfolio, purchased by Wimatex, Inc. was 100% leased at the time of sale.
Aric Starck, Drew Dodds and Matty Sundberg of Cushman & Wakefield’s Capital Markets in San Diego represented the seller, Thibodo, LLC and CCSD, LLC in the transaction. “This was a great opportunity to acquire a portfolio comprised of two high-quality Class A assets with excellent in-place cash flow. This acquisition speaks to the confidence in San Diego’s office market, despite the pandemic,” said Starck.
The property located at 1800 Thibodo Road is three-stories, 24,000 square feet and fully leased to nine tenants. The building at 1959 Palomar Oaks Way (pictured) is three-stories, 46,000 square feet and fully leased to four tenants. Both buildings are proximate to Interstate 5 and the Pacific Ocean.
