Frisco's 112-acre The Mix to cost $3B

Frisco’s 112 Acre, $3 Billion “The Mix” Starts Work

A new 112-acre mixed-experience community called The Mix will start work this month. The ambitious project is slated for completion in 2026. Frisco developers recently unveiled the plans and name of the $3 billion project, which for the entire planning process was known as Project X. The Mix will be a mixed-use community, located in the area described as the North Platinum Corridor in Frisco.

The Mix is planned to have approximately 2 million square feet of office space; 375,000 square feet of retail, including a grocery store; a business hotel and a boutique hotel; and 3 million square feet of residential. StreetLights Residential, a Dallas-based, multifamily and mixed-use developer, is partnering on the residential aspect of the project.

Torti Gallas + Partners and CallisonRTKL have been listed as partners for The Mix, as the master plan architects. Kimley-Horn is partnering with the project for planning and design engineering.
