Gulfstream Takes Hangar Space in Phoenix-Area Airport
The 58,741 sq ft facility next to Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport is adjacent to the company’s new customer support center which will be completed in 2024.
The addition of the hangar space increases Gulfstream space in the Valley for routine inspections and maintenance of in-service aircraft. Recently the airport became the nation’s first air cargo hub with a joint U.S.-Mexico Customs inspection facility.
This facility is one of many in Skybridge’s portfolio adjacent to the East Valley airport. In early 2023, the developer will begin construction on two 250,000-sq.-ft. buildings just North of the newly-leased Gulfstream hangar. A taxiway extension starting in the first quarter of 2023 will create new airside opportunities for large and smaller aviation uses.
Once completed, the 363.5-acre development, South of Loop 202 in Mesa, will house 22 buildings for both aeronautical and commercial development. A CBRE team led by Jackie Orcutt represented the owner, Skybridge, on the lease.
