Stockbridge Divests 758K-SF Elk Grove Industrial Portfolio
Colliers’ Jeff Devine and Steve Disse represented Stockbridge in the sale of an industrial portfolio on approximately 47 acres in Elk Grove Village, adjacent to O’Hare International Airport. The buyer wasn’t disclosed.
The Infill O’Hare Multi-Tenant Portfolio included 21 buildings totaling 757,557 square feet. At the time of sale, the buildings were 97% occupied by 107 tenants. The portfolio was marketed as either an opportunity to continue harvesting a dependable income stream or as a rare redevelopment opportunity in one of the nation’s tightest industrial markets.
“This portfolio presented a unique opportunity to invest in a complementary collection of small bay industrial units that have always been in high demand from companies in the O’Hare area,” said Devine, executive managing director and a principal at Colliers’ Chicago office. “This premier location adjacent to the airport and at the center of the Chicago MSA allows for great optionality into the future.”
