Anaheim Approves $4B Mixed-Use Development at Honda Center
The Anaheim City Council has unanimously voted to approve ocV!BE, a $4 billion, 100-acre mixed-use community and entertainment destination surrounding the Honda Center in Anaheim, CA. The project, sponsored by Anaheim Ducks owners the Samueli Family, will feature entertainment, dining, hospitality and lifestyle amenities.
“We thank the Anaheim City Council for their strong support of our vision for ocV!BE and our continued partnership with the City of Anaheim,” said Henry and Susan Samueli.
“Our ambition is for ocV!BE to be the social and entertainment center of Orange County, providing a vibrant collection of experiences celebrating the diversity of our community,” said ocV!BE CEO Bill Foltz.
Project features include a 5,700-capacity concert hall, 35 restaurants, two hotels, one million square feet of creative office space, twenty acres of public space, and 1,500 residential units with 195 of them classified as affordable. Construction is expected to start this year with the first phase open in 2025.
