CBRE Brokers Record-Setting Office Lease in Malibu
CBRE’s Stan Gerlach and Jeff Gerlach have brokered a 34,373-square-foot lease at the Malibu Vista office building in Malibu, CA. The lease, to a confidential tenant, is Malibu’s largest lease in over a decade and nearly double the size of the city’s second largest lease in 2016. The average office tenant size in Malibu is approximately 2,500 square feet.
“Despite lingering uncertainty in the office market, our team was able to market this property to both local and national tenants, ultimately attracting a national tenant to lease all remaining vacant space at the property,” said Jeff Gerlach in a news release.
The Malibu Vista office building is located on the Pacific Coast Highway, overlooking the Pacific Ocean. The property features a private fitness center, a large courtyard and several outdoor spaces with ocean views.
