Infinity RE Impact Acquires Affordable-Multifamily Portfolio with $89M Secured by Berkadia
Atlanta, GA-based Infinity RE Impact has acquired an affordable housing portfolio consisting of 12 properties in GA and one in SC utilizing $87.8 million in acquisition financing secured by Jeff Lawrence of Berkadia.
“2022 has been a challenging year to acquire multifamily properties,” said Greg Jones, CIO for Infinity. “Proper financing in such a volatile market is critical, and Berkadia was an incredible partner all the way to the close. I could not be more appreciative of everyone involved. We have a lot of plans for this portfolio and look forward to watching the Infinity team execute our mission to enhance the lives of the residents in our communities.”
The two-year bridge loan was financed through Berkadia.
The 13 properties in the portfolio include:
- Lake Forest Apartments, 1360 Otilia Drive in Gainesville, GA, 118 units
- Forest Creek at Moultrie Apartments at 409 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive in Moultrie, GA, 80 units
- Lakeview Apartments at 1210 Stewart Street in Carrollton, GA, 98 units
- Rolling Ridge Apartments at 100 Rolling Ridge Drive in Athens, GA, 160 units
- Shenandoah Forest Apartments at 8 Forest Circle in Newnan, Georgia, 100 units
- Sunny Brook Apartments at 1300 Mineral Springs Road in Elberton, GA, 130 units
- Briarwood Apartments is located at 1201 S 1st St. in Jesup, GA, 90 units
- Indian Oaks at 1103 E Church St. in Fort Valley, GA, 150 units
- Shadowood at 2506 Lumpkin Road in Augusta, GA, 78 units
- The Cliffs at 826 Shugart Road in Dalton, GA, 120 units
- Georgian Woods at 120 McNeil Drive in Douglas, GA, 66 units
- Riverbend at 441 E McIntosh St. in Milledgeville, GA, 75 units
- Crestview Village at 908 Crestview Road in Easley, SC, 76 units
