RMR and AEW have signed a lease agreement with World Food Program USA for a full-floor, 13,277-square-foot space in 1750 H Street NW in Washington, DC.

Lucia Hedke and Mindy Saffer of Cresa represented the tenant in the transaction, which is a 54% expansion for World Food Program USA. The organization builds support within the US for the United Nations World Food Programme and will move from 1725 Eye Street NW when its lease commences in May 2023.

1750 H Street NW is a 133,202-square-foot freestanding office building built in 2002 (and acquired by ownership in 2017). It is located two and a half blocks away from the White House and near similar organizations for robust advocacy and collaboration.

Hedke has represented the Food & Agriculture Organization of the United Nations in its 4,811-square-foot lease at 1730 Penn Avenue and the U.N. World Food Programme in its 7,675-square-foot lease at 750 17th Street.

About Lisa McDuffie

Lisa McDuffie arrives at ConnectCRE via REALTOR® world, where she served for nearly two decades as communications director for one of the nation’s largest REALTOR® organizations. She supported two membership-elected presidents who were commercial real estate practitioners, and managed the communications initiatives of the organization’s commercial special interest group. When not following the latest commercial real estate news, Lisa is zeroed in on her charismatic off-the-track thoroughbred as she makes the transition from an utterly failed racehorse to a lovely show hunter.
