Colliers, L.H. Charney Secure 145K SF of Leases on Broadway
Colliers and L.H. Charney Associates have completed 15 leases totaling 145,000 square feet at 1410 Broadway and 10 Times Square (also known as 1441 Broadway). Vice chairman Michael Joseph, executive managing director Rick Doolittle and directors JP Howard and Taylor Bell of Colliers represented property owner L.H. Charney in each transaction.
At 1441 Broadway the Colliers team completed a 22,516-square-foot lease renewal for the HH Brown Shoe Company, an 11,033-square-foot lease with Spot and Company of Manhattan and a 6,183-square-foot lease with Digital Remedy. Deals at 1410 Broadway were headlined by a 21,000-square-foot lease for Saramax Apparel and a 9,758-square-foot lease with WSC Sports Technologies which will serve as its North American headquarters.
“August was the busiest month for office leasing in Manhattan that we’ve seen since the outset of the pandemic,” said Bell. “We expect this momentum to continue through the fourth quarter and into the next year.”
