BRIDGE Housing Updates Progress on Portland Affordable Project

BRIDGE Housing reports that construction is well under way on an 82-unit, affordable housing development in the Aloha community of Washington County, OR. Aloha Family Housing, located on SW Alexander Street and SW 174th Avenue, about 10 miles west of downtown Portland, is scheduled to be completed in Fall 2023.

The project will provide one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments affordable to families earning 30%-60% of Area Median Income. Planned amenities include a community room with kitchen, resident service offices, a playground and raised garden beds. The property will also be designed to receive Earth Advantage Platinum certification and feature a rooftop solar array.

“We are delighted to bring quality affordable homes to this neighborhood,” said Ken Lombard, BRIDGE Housing President and CEO. “Housing options for all make communities stronger and better for everyone, and we’re grateful to our partners for coming together on solutions like Aloha Family Housing.”
