Newmark Completes Sale of Sunnyvale R&D Campus

Ellis Partners has purchased an 87,000-square-foot R&D campus in Sunnyvale, CA’s Moffett Park in a transaction facilitated by Newmark. The seller was real estate management company, Cilker Orchards Management Corp., and while the price was undisclosed, it is reported to be a $28 million deal.

Newmark’s Steven Golubchik, Edmund Najera, Jesse Millman, Jonathan Schaefler and Darren Hollak handled the transaction. “The Moffett Park property provides the investor with a flexible business plan to either reposition the existing asset or plan for future redevelopment with the Moffett Park specific plan,” said Golubchik.

The campus is nestled in 1,156-acre Moffett Park that sits in the northwest corner of Sunnyvale. The location provides convenient access to San Jose and the Peninsula via highways 237 and 101 as well as light rail.
