Marina Club Apartments Hands Skanska $111M to Build Mixed-Use in St. Petersburg

Skanska has signed a contract with Marina Club Apartments LLC to build a mixed-use building in St. Petersburg, FL. The contract is worth $111 million.

The multifamily-led project will consist of an eight-story pre-cast building totaling 610,000 square feet with first-floor retail space overlooking Boca Ceiga Bay. The project includes construction of a new 400-unit apartment complex with a two-story podium parking garage, amenities deck, sky lounge, pool deck and grilling area, fitness center and dog park

“The rise of mixed-use developments has gained a foothold over the last decade as demand for communities with live-work-play environments has grown,” said Michael C. Brown, executive vice president and general manager of Skanska Florida.

Construction is expected to reach completion in December 2024.
