Rockwood Acquires Walnut Creek Apartments for $66M
San Francisco-based Rockwood Capital has acquired the The Arroyo Residences, a 100-Unit apartment property in Walnut Creek, CA for $66 million. The seller was Northwestern Mutual Real Estate which acquired the property in 2015 during construction. The $660,000 price per unit is a record high for the East Bay suburb.
The complex, located at 1250 Arroyo Way, features one- and two-bedroom units with amenities that include a pool, spa, business center, clubhouse and rooftop terrace.
The property is located a half-mile from the BART station, and is just a short walk to vibrant downtown Walnut Creek. It is also situated less than a mile from Interstate 680 and Highway 24, allowing connectivity to Oakland, San Francisco and the Silicon Valley.
