Beach Real Estate Funds, LLC, an affiliate of The Beach Company, has acquired Waters Edge at Harbison apartments in Columbia, SC for $32.4 million.

Beach Real Estate Funds Acquires Columbia Multifamily for $32M in Last Act

Charleston, SC-based Beach Real Estate Funds, LLC, an affiliate of The Beach Company, has completed its $32.4-million acquisition of Waters Edge at Harbison, a 204-unit garden-style multifamily in the Columbia, SC submarket of Harbison.

This transaction represents the final acquisition for the Beach Investment Fund.

John Currin, Andrea Howard and Jeff Glen of Northmarq facilitated the sale on behalf of the seller; Connor Locke and Cliff Ayers with Walker & Dunlop placed the debt; and BREF’s Darby Parker and Niko LeVigne facilitated the acquisition on behalf of the buyer.

The 1996-constructed Waters Edge at Harbison spans 14 acres with 10 residential buildings, along with connectivity to a lake and area’s trail systems. The property is located northwest of downtown Columbia and is adjacent to the fast-growing town of Irmo.
