PREMIER Completes New Pre-Leased Torrance Warehouse

PREMIER Design + Build Group has finished work on Gateway Logistics Center, a 251,000-square-foot industrial warehouse in Torrance, CA. PREMIER was the general contractor for the project, owned by Ares Industrial Management, while RGA provided design services.

Gateway Logistics Center is a concrete tilt-up structure with a steel truss hybrid roof. Located on Pacific Gateway Drive, the facility has a 36’ clear height, 42 truck doors, two drive-in doors, 67 trailer parking stalls, 155 auto parking stalls and 16 EV charging stations. The site was also equipped with a complete rainwater harvesting system to provide water for irrigation. 

PREMIER’s Jeramy Mahfet served as senior project manager, working with superintendent Kenny Holt and principal Steven Gabbert. “This is an exceptional new asset designed to meet the evolving needs of the market,” said Gabbert. “We’ve enjoyed working with the Ares Industrial Management team to bring this project to completion.”
