Sam Moon Group Building Dallas’ First JW Marriott
Plano-based hospitality developer Sam Moon Group is underway on construction of a 267-room hotel in the Dallas Arts District that will operate under the JW Marriott brand. It will be situated at 2000 Ross Ave., across from the Trammell Crow Center office tower in the Arts District.
Opening in spring 2023, the $125 million, 23 floor hotel will have an entry lobby at ground level, then express elevators will shuttle guests to the reception and Sky Lobby on the 11th floor. The hotel includes 267 rooms, meeting and conference areas, ballroom and a fitness center. A pool and deck with 40 foot ceilings, terrace bar, cabanas and outdoor event space will offer views of the downtown area.
A restaurant will be located within the sky lobby on the 11th floor. A street-level style hotel bar will be on the ground level.
HKS Inc. served as the project architect, with DPR Construction as the general contractor.
