New Flex Warehouse Concept Opens In Phoenix

Capstone Equities launched its Portal Warehousing concept last year, a sort of flexible warehouse solution offering the smaller spaces and shared amenities that have become common in the office co-working sector on a membership basis.

The first Arizona warehouse just opened in Tempe. Portal’s open in Salt Lake City and has one on the way in Los Angeles and Las Vegas. The one-of-a-kind Arizona offering is 35,000 square feet and has 36 units, ranging in size from 50 square feet to 1,500 square feet to accommodate a variety of a variety of business owners.

Portal’s Alex Morrison thinks there will be a number of interested business, “We’re reimagining what a warehouse is, bringing in amenities that people have become used to in co-working spaces, but do not exist in industrial, such as art, networking and collaboration space, coffee bars and photo booths. Portal turns warehouses into space for people too, not just product.”
