Arizona Build-To-Rent Developer Buys 39 Acres in Casa Grande
The MODUS Companies is planning to build 470 units in the fast growing town of Casa Grande. Casa Grande, between Phoenix and Tucson off I-10 has 57,000 residents, and recently became the home of two automobile builders, “With EV manufacturers Nikola and LUCID creating around 6,000 jobs in the market and Kohler another 400+ jobs, the tremendous population growth and lack of supply for housing creates an exciting opportunity”, said MODUS’s Ed Gorman
The 39 acre parcel is at Florence Boulevard and I-10, adjacent to a shopping center with over 1 million square feet of retail space.
MODUS features a sustainability program called Net Zero Energy, which include rooftop solar panels, hybrid hot water, energy recovery ventilators and more. It hopes to reduce the average residents power bill by 60-70%.
