Stan Johnson Company has brokered the $15-million sale of Washington Square retail center in Georgetown, KY.

Stan Johnson Company Closes $15M Sale of Lexington Retail Center

Stan Johnson Company has completed the $15-million sale of the Washington Square neighborhood retail center located at 1002 Lexington Road in the Lexington submarket of Georgetown, KY. The 122,554-square-foot shopping center is anchored by LifePoint Health and was fully leased at the time of sale.

Ryan Roedersheimer of Stan Johnson Company represented the seller, a Lexington, KY-based investor. A private buyer based in Austin, TX acquired the asset.

“We were able to bring a repeat seller and buyer to the table and both were thrilled with the outcome,” said Roedersheimer. “For the seller, we achieved the first part of his goal, and I am actively working on finding his exchange property. For the buyer, we successfully added another trophy asset to his portfolio.”

Washington Square is 10 miles north of Lexington and features 23 tenants across four buildings. The 1972-constructed property sits on 13.93 acres.
