Marcus & Millichap Closes Sale of Net-Leased Omaha Supermarket
Marcus & Millichap arranged the sale of Family Fare Supermarket, a 65,413-square-foot net-leased property located in Omaha. The asset sold for $4,627,969 to an undisclosed buyer.
Brennan Clegg, Chris Lind and Mark Ruble, investment specialists in Marcus & Millichap’s Columbus and Phoenix offices, marketed the property on behalf of the seller, a limited liability company. Jon Ruzicka, broker, assisted in closing this transaction.
“In recent years, investors have had a strong appetite for grocery assets,” said Clegg. “This particular grocery property offered a long-term intrinsic value component due to its location and below market rent factor.”
Located at 5110 S 108th St. in Omaha, the Family Fare is part of a supermarket chain with more than 80 locations in seven states. Its parent company is Grand Rapids, MI-based SpartanNash.
