Baker Hughes Heading to Houston Energy Corridor for New HQ

The oil and gas equipment company has been situated in North Houston for the last five years. But next year Baker Hughes will be moving to new offices at 575 Dairy Ashford Road, off the Katy Tollway within the Houston Energy Corridor. Their news offices will consist of about 130,000 square feet of space, a sharp drop from the 340,000 square feet their previous headquarters office and adjacent buildings on Aldine Westfield Road comprised. Once the company completes its relocation it will be looking to achieve a greater than 50% reduction in its Houston office space presence over the last two years.

Baker Hughes is just the latest company to reduce its office footprint as new office space models are being considered following the pandemic.
