Fort Worth Shopping Center Acquired by Younger Partners Investments
Younger Partners Investments (YPI) acquired Crockett Row, a 282,334-square foot “urban village” located at the southeast corner of University Drive and West 7th Street. The development has five blocks of retail and office space.
Developed in 2009, Crockett Row is home to museums, restaurants, pubs and entertainment venues including the new Dickies Arena. Some of the occupants include LA Fitness, Movie Tavern and Fidelity investments. The occupancy at closing was 75%.
YPI plans to make improvements by adding gathering spaces, parking technology to help shoppers find parking spots and additional elevators. Younger Partners Investments Kathy Permenter adds , “Crockett Row was a target investment for us because of its strong supporting demographic and iconic location in the Cultural District…The amount of tenant interest in this neighborhood has far exceeded expectations.”
Crockett Row will soon be joined by Crescent-Fort Worth Hotel, 170,000 square feet of office and as many as 200 multifamily units. Before the acquisition, the property was being managed by Vestar.
