Woodard & Currant Signs to Relocate to Portland Waterfront, Open Learning Center
Woodard & Curran is opening a national learning and collaboration center and relocating its headquarters to a newly constructed downtown space at 12 Mountfort Street in Portland, ME.
Drew Sigfridson and Jessica Estes of The Boulos Company represented Woodard & Curran in the transaction. The state’s largest engineering firm is subleasing the 5th and 6th floors from Covetrus.
The new building offers common meeting rooms, café, and patio on the top floor plus on-site parking and bike storage and access to downtown Portland.
The new office is also an opportunity for Woodard & Curran to advance sustainability goals, as the firm considers carbon-neutral furnishings and workflows, LEED certification, and a green roof. In addition, the space allows for planned growth, with room to host expanded trainings, staff gatherings, and client events.
