Texarkana’s TexAmericas Center Ranked #5 for US Business Parks
Business Facilities Magazine is out with their annual rankings and the massive east Texas industrial park ranked in the Top Ten for the third year in a row.
The factors taken into account for the rankings include size, recent expansions, growth potential and unique assets and amenities.
The TexAmerica Center gets high marks due to the fact that it’s on 12,000 acres and has 3.5 million square feet of space fully entitled, with more on the way. That allows options for potential tenants of specialized industries that might not otherwise be available. 41 corporate citizens are on the property, a rate that’s doubled in the past eight years. The industries include defense, transportation equipment, oil and gas pipe, warehousing and construction.
Additionally, TexAmericas has recently added rail services. 11 businesses take advantage of it.
