Andes Coil moves to Sylvania Park in Fort Worth

Andes Coil Processors Taking Over Iconic Fort Worth Plant

Andes Coil is expanding to Fort Worth and they’ve chosen the now-shuttered American Manufacturing of Texas plant for their latest operation. The site, which was home to one of the largest makers of oil pump jacks, will now be a processing plant for carbon and alloy steel. Andes Coil currently has sites in Dallas, Grand Prairie and Lewiston, “We are excited about our expansion into Fort Worth…the town offered the ease of access (rail and interstate roadways), a strong workforce, and quality of life we wanted for our team members,” says Andes Coil’s Howard Pena.

The 151,693-square-foot facility is situated within the 64-acre Sylvania Industrial Park, which was recently acquired by CanTex Capital. CanTex currently operates 4 million square feet of industrial space in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area.

The manufacturing facility will bring 30 to 50 new jobs and a $5 million capital investment to Fort Worth.
