VanTrust Continues to Add to El Paso’s Growing Industrial Space
The El Paso/Juarez border is near the top when it comes to bi-national border trade, and their industrial business parks are one of the reasons. Developer VanTrust’s Josh Meredith explains, “For the past decade, the El Paso/Ciudad Juarez region has experienced steady industrial growth, but in recent years, its undeniable strategic advantages have become even more attractive, making the industrial market one of the hottest in the nation.”
In response, VanTrust has started work on Phase II of a 59-acre speculative logistics park. The second phase will add two buildings totaling 483,698 square feet. The phase 1 Logistics Park, with just over 500,000 square feet, is 100% rented out.
The “Borderplex” region has five international points of entry, two international airports and access to interstate rail lines as well as running along Interstate 10.
