Austin’s Hotel Granduca Set for Renovations
Southern California-based Pacific Hospitality is moving forward on its revamp of the Austin hotel. Covid delays interrupted their plans, originally announced upon the acquisition of the property in December of 2020. The 190,000-square-foot property has 194 rooms, including 38 suites, and sits on 38 acres.
The revamp project will comprise the addition of a new spa, the redesign of the restaurant and the renovation of the pool deck and lobby. Completion is slated for Fall 2022. The property includes 6,650 square feet of meeting space.
Pacific Hospitality’s Garrett Busch had this when they took over the hotel two years ago, “This area is poised for continued success with numerous companies moving to Austin, many from our home state of California. As owners and operators of many hotels, we believe we can support Austin’s booming economy with this new asset and our passion for hospitality.”
