Vestar to Build 500,000 Square Foot Retail Center West of Phoenix
The shopping center is going in at Verrado, an 8,800 acre master planned community in Buckeye, Arizona. Vestar will be joining forces with DMB Development, the group that developed Verrado.
It will be called the Verrado Marketplace and include a grocery store, movie theater, apparel and home decor stores, department store and several restaurants. In addition, the project will include several large public outdoor spaces with the intent to serve as a gathering spot for the surrounding communities.
The Marketplace will be developed at the northeast corner of Verrado Way and I-10. It is expected to break ground in mid-2023 following necessary approvals from the City. Vestar’s David Larcher has more, “We are excited to be partnering with a visionary company like DMB and especially to be developing at the front door of the Verrado community.”
