Dalfen Stays Busy, Purchases Second Industrial Property in San Diego

For the second time in two months, Dalfen Industrial has acquired an industrial asset in the Otay Mesa submarket of San Diego, CA, the Otay South Logistics Center. The building was purchased as a sale leaseback from Royal Flavor, a wholesale produce company who occupies 100% of the property.

Otay South Logistics Center is a 66,000-square-foot facility built in 2000 and features 24-foot clear heights, a 128-foot truck court and 14 dock-high doors. It’s situated in an area with big name tenants like Fedex, Amazon, Panasonic and Costco.

“Our acquisition of Otay South Logistics Center provides another last mile location to service San Diego’s 3.3 million people,” said Dalfen’s Rich Weiss in a news release. “With a mere 10 miles from the coastline to the mountains, San Diego is highly supply-constrained and in conjunction with strong and unique demand drivers, fosters very favorable market conditions.”
