The Langley to Go Up at 1717 Bissonnet St. in Houston

It’s a famous address. One that was the site of a battle of wills 15 years ago between those who supported a mixed-use tower, and those that didn’t. Lawsuits and court rulings followed.

But that’s then and this is now, as national developer StreetLights Residential and the Hunt Companies are building The Langley, a new luxury rental community. The targeted completion date is 2025.

The Langley will offer 134 apartment homes in two and three-bedroom floor plans aimed at high-end renters. StreetLights Stephen Meeks says the new project will have, “…the valet and concierge services of a five-star hotel and the craftsmanship of a custom home.”

Average rental spaces will be 3,000 square feet and are targeted for long term leases.
