Meta Mesa Data Center To Add Three New Buildings

The campus will now include five buildings totaling more than 2.5 million square feet. Meta’s investment to date in Arizona is over $1 billion. The new buildings will require the addition of 500 more workers, for a total of 2,000.

The data center is designed to be 60% more water efficient than the industry standard and the company has committed to restoring more water than it will consume. The company has invested in three water restorations projects that restore more than 200 million gallons per year back into the area water basins.

The Mesa site is Meta’s (formerly Facebook) 14th data center worldwide.
