SkyWalker Property Sells Three Revamped North Texas Properties

After renovating three North Texas properties in its portfolio, SkyWalker decided it was time to respond to a red-hot market. Founder Gary Walker said the time was right, “We had a tremendous number of offers, it sold in less than a month…there is a lot of capital chasing investments in Texas.”

One property in Waxahachie, was the former home of a local newspaper. Walker spent nearly $2.5 million to convert it into a single-tenant building. A Wichita Falls parcel went from being a call center to a grocery store. A second Wichita Falls property went from being a retail center to a government-leased asset.

Walked added this about his current strategy, “We are in harvest mode and it’s a good time in the market to do so. We aren’t long term holders. We’re in moving, not storage.”
