US’ Largest Female-Owned Logistics Firm Takes 288K SF in Conyers
Lincoln Property Company Southeast has secured a full-building, 288,477-square-foot lease at Rockdale 20 Distribution Center in Conyers, GA.
A Lincoln team of Denton Shamburger, Turner Fortin and Colin Beecham represented the owner, Hillwood, in the deal.
The tenant, Chattanooga, TN-based Kenco Group (according to Lincoln the largest woman-owned, third-party logistics company in the US), will occupy the building located less than a mile off I-20 and 10 miles from I-285.
“Georgia has remained a hotspot for industrial growth, and Rockdale 20 Distribution Center offers an ideal last-mile location,” said Shamburger. “Top industrial players from around the country continue to eye the Atlanta metro due to its relative affordability, talent pool and proximity to major transportation arteries, and with this move, Kenco Group is poised for continued success.”
The rear-load industrial facility has 60 dock-high doors, two drive-in doors, up to 80 trailer storage spaces and 287 auto-parking spaces with interstate-adjacent signage opportunities.
