Sparrow Partners Teams with Welltower in Developing Adult Community in The Station
Sparrow Partners and Welltower Inc. will open a 193-unit active adult community in the Dallas-area suburb of Sachse this fall, that targets residents aged 55 and older.
Part of The Station, a $500 million mixed-use community developed by PMB Capital Investments, Amberlin at the Station will feature resort-style amenities and a daily schedule of free activities. One-and-two-bedroom apartments at Amberlin at the Station will range in size from 615 square feet to 1,285 square feet and feature private terraces or fenced-in backyards. Each unit will rent for approximately $1,400 to $2,500 per month.
The 6.4-acre community will open this fall at 4615 The Station Blvd., about 25 minutes northeast of downtown Dallas. Amberlin at the Station will be the third active adult community that Austin-based Sparrow will build and develop in in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Founded in 2017, the company has opened 10 similar communities nationwide over the last four years and has an additional 17 under development.
