Jonathan Frey has joined RFR as head of debt capital markets after 12 years with the Pyramid Group

RFR Brings in Finance Veteran to Lead Debt Capital Markets 

RFR has hired Jonathan Frey as head of debt capital markets.  Reporting to principals Aby Rosen and Michael Fuchs, he’ll oversee debt capital sourcing and structuring for RFR’s portfolio of commercial, residential, hotel, and retail properties in New York City, Miami, San Francisco, Seattle, and Denver.  

“Jonathan brings his extensive experience from a long and distinguished career having diverse exposure to both in-house and banking roles in commercial real estate finance,” said Rosen. “We continue to assemble top proven talent with great market vision.  Jonathan is a great addition to our team and will further strengthen our competitive industry edge.”  

Frey joins RFR after more than 12 years as director of capital markets for Pyramid Management Group, the Northeast’s largest private owner of regional shopping centers. He executed more than $3 billion of financings with CMBS and balance sheet lenders, serving as the primary contact with investment banks and brokers.
