Edge Smooths $5M Sale of Single-Story Office Building in Silver Spring
Edge has brokered a 26,200-square-foot office building in on Broadbirch Drive in Silver Spring, MD for $4.5 million.
Kenneth Fellows and Robert Pugh with Edge represented the seller, DSC Partners, LLC. The Rockville, MD-based seller has a portfolio of 36 buildings and 3.5 million square feet of office, medical, flex and industrial properties throughout the Mid-Atlantic region.
2311 Broadbirch Drive is a single-story building contained within WesTech Business Park. It is three miles from the Intercounty Connector (Maryland Route 200) and Interstate 95 and five miles from Interstate 495. It is adjacent to WestTech Village Center and Orchard Center, and in close proximity to Adventist HealthCare White Oak Medical Center.
“There remains a scarcity of well-maintained, vacant commercial office buildings in the suburban Maryland area, so the interest in this asset was extremely high and we fielded multiple offers to bring this sale to a rapid conclusion,” said Pugh.
