MRKT Secures $14M Apartment Community in Chesapeake

Marcus & Millichap has completed the sale of Marina Point Apartments in Chesapeake, VA. The 104-unit multifamily property sold for $14.2 million.

A Marcus & Millichap team of Altay Uzun, Justin Ferguson, Theo Jolley and David Chae represented the seller and secured the buyer, MRKT Realty, LLC.

Marina Point Apartments was built in 1965 and is situated on 7.84 acres on Canal Drive. The multifamily property’s 13 buildings are comprised of 34 one-bedroom, one-bathroom units; 52 two-bedroom, one-bathroom units; two three-bedroom, one-bathroom units; and 16 three-bedroom, one and a half-bathroom units. Each unit features hardwood flooring, a walk-in closet, carpeting, a kitchen and dining area and ceiling fans.
