Stos Partners Adds Signal Hill Location for $8.4M
Marketplace activity around commercial properties and warehousing space continues to simmer in Southern California with a 35,000-square-foot space being sold for $8.4 million in Signal Hill, a submarket of Los Angeles.
Stos Partners picked up the property (at 2301 Redondo Ave.) through an off-market transaction, according to a news release. The purchase is the San Diego firm’s first buy in Signal Hill – an enclave that Long Beach surrounds.
Stos plans upgrades for the property that include a freshly resurfaced parking lot, fresh landscaping and paint, a revamp of the facade and a new roof. The two tenants, at present, are The Wine Country and Rossmoor Pastries.
Also according to the release, Stos Partners has more than $1 billion in transactions to date. The firm specializes in redevelopment as well as ground-up development for industrial and smaller commercial properties. Stos is headquartered in San Diego, with offices in Orange County as well as Laredo, Texas.
