Echo Park Office Complex Sells for $51M

Just before the Presidents’ Day holiday, Keller Williams Commercial brokered the sale of the Rolf K. McPherson building in Echo Park, a submarket of Los Angele. Foursquare Church is the seller. The price tag is $51 million.

In addition to the McPherson building, CMCT operates and develops other multifamily and creative-office spaces in emerging communities, nationally.

Lee Black and Veronica Black with KW Commercial represented both the buyer and seller in the transaction.

“This was CMCT’s first transaction with  KW Commercial and we were excited to work on this acquisition with Lee Black, an industry veteran with more than 36 years of experience, who along with his KW team managed the transaction process smoothly and with the utmost professionalism,” said David Thompson, Chief Executive Officer of CMCT.

According to a news release, the building is located at 1910 W. Sunset Blvd. The McPherson is an eight-story, 99,761-square-foot tower with office spaces, ground-floor banks and eateries.

Plenty of (wait for it …) ample parking is available, and is near Echo Park Lake. Access to the 101, the 110, the 5 and the 2 freeways is prevalent.

CMCT plans to upgrade the property into creative office space catering to entertainment, media, and technology companies, according to the release.
