AMAC Closes on $7M Site in Hollywood for Future Multifamily
AMAC has acquired a $6.6-million site in Hollywood, FL from seller LL Hart Development LLC. The developer plans to build a 180-unit rental project, which is set to break ground this summer, in conjunction with Miami-based ROVR Development.
The deal expands AMAC and ROVR’s presence in South FL, where the companies recently completed and stabilized Biscyane 112, a 402-unit multifamily property located at 11200 Biscyane Boulevard. AMAC also recently acquired a 2.9-acre piece of land at 17990 West Dixie Highway in Aventura, FL, where construction on a 290-unit multifamily property is underway.
Once completed, the eight-story building on Griffin Road in Hollywood will include a mix of studio to three-bedroom units. The city is situated midway between Fort Lauderdale and Miami and is home to over 60 parks, seven golf courses and seven miles of pristine beaches. Approximately 80 percent of Port Everglades, the world’s second busiest cruise port, is located in Hollywood.
